USDA Rural Development Fund

USDA Rural Development receives over $1 billion annually to operate over fifty financial assistance programs for a variety of rural applications including services for:

• Businesses;
• Communities and non-profits;
• Individuals;
• Lenders;
• Tribes;
• Utilities; and
• Developers.​

In 2011, USDA partnered with EPA through a Memorandum of Understanding to promote rural water and wastewater system sustainability. ​
